Pella High sticks around the city this afternoon for a triangular girls’ golf meet with Norwalk and Winterset at the Pella Golf and Country Club. The Lady Dutch, though they didn’t graduate much last year, are still a young team. Coach Mike Vint has been working with his girls on the mental side of the sport, especially when they get tripped up during a round. Vint tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that after a bad hole, he looks to see what is on the scorecard for the next few holes. He says he’s been trying to get them to look ahead and not behind. Today’s meet in Pella tees off at 4:15 p.m.
