In their outdoor season debut for 2015, the Pella High girls’ track and field team looked extremely sharp at Southeast Polk last night. The Lady Dutch finished runners-up to the host Rams, scoring 151.5 points, only 34 less than Southeast Polk. Six different events placed for Pella, including the 4 x 400 meter and shuttle hurdle relay teams, Emma Thoreson was first in the 100 meter hurdles, Kiki Pingel in the 400 meter hurdles, Marissa Borgerding had the furthest shot put throw, and Lexi Reynolds was best in the discus. Four events finished second and four more third for the Lady Dutch, and you can see full results below. Pella’s girls are back at it in Knoxville on Saturday for the Panther Relays.
