On their newly-resurfaced home courts at Caldwell Park, the Pella High boys’ tennis team downed North Polk yesterday to begin their season. The Dutch won all matches except for number one singles, where the Comets’ Nathan Greiner defeated Jamison Roozeboom in straight sets. The rest of the Little Dutch came away with straight set victories of their own, only losing a few games along the way. Full results can be found below. Pella will participate in an early morning team tournament on Saturday at West Des Moines Valley, where they will see Maharishi in the opening match.
