Rozenboom-KenScale

The Iowa Senate passed a bill expanding the allowable uses of medical marijuana and rules for its production this week.
State Senator Ken Rozenboom voted against this legislation because he feels it’s too broad in scope. He says he didn’t support this because it covers multiple forms of cannabis, and feels there’s not enough research to support such a broad bill. Rozenboom supported an amendment that would reclassify marijuana from a class I to a class II substance to allow for more medical testing. He also voted in favor of a measure last year that allowed for the use of cannabis oil with seizures because of its narrow nature.
