This week is volunteer week, and Pella Regional Health Center is saluting the volunteers who help with their programs.
Cyndi Atkins with Pella Regional says volunteers help with a variety of functions at the hospital.
Ann Visser and Ruth Ann Kuhn are among those that give some of their spare time to Pella Regional, and both say it’s a fulfilling experience and a chance to interact with people they otherwise wouldn’t meet.
In 2014, more than 8,161 volunteer hours were logged.
