Golfing for the second time in as many days, the Pleasantville boys’ golf team put a little more distance between them and the competition on a more difficult course yesterday. The Trojans defeated the Mohawks by 21 strokes, shooting a team score of 181. Cassin Garr was the co-meet medalist with a round of 41. Joe Day and Caleb Adreon were right there with him, each with a 45. Melcher-Dallas was led by Garrett Dixon and Conner Dawson, who each carded a 63. The Pleasantville girls were at The Preserve on Lake Rathbun and won by 135 strokes over Moravia. The defending Class 2A runners-up shot a 194, and had the two lowest scores on the course for the afternoon. Hannah Gordon put up a 42, and Bailey Oliva shot a 44.
