The Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad finished fifth out of nine teams at the Norwalk Invitational last night. Nathan Winters was first again in the shot put and discus, along with Tanner Dunkin in the long jump, he also picked up a silver medal in the 100. The 4×100 team of Connor Bailey, Nolan Wallace, Austin Davis, and Dunkin placed third. Coach Joe Cunningham tells KNIA/KRLS Nathan Winters has had an incredible start to his season, and thinks he still has not reached his full potential. The Panthers travel to Clarke for another meet on Thursday. The Knoxville Girls Track and Field Squad also had some good performances last night at Norwalk. Kendrea Richardson took first in the 200 and second on the long jump, while Kayla Moats was third in the high jump and Sydney Washington placed third in the 400. No team scores were made available. The girls will travel to Newton on Thursday.
