The defending Class 2A state girls’ golf runners-up hit the links today for a home triangular with Melcher-Dallas and North Polk. Pleasantville’s girls have looked very strong through the first two weeks of the season, and with May approaching, Coach Dan Calhoun will be paying extra close attention to how his team is doing out on the course. Calhoun says that though April is a warm-up, it’s still important, and that there are a few main things he talks to his girls about each day. Today’s meet at the Pleasantville Country Club will tee off at 4:15 p.m.
