The City of Pella is celebrating its Dutch heritage with the 80th annual Tulip Time Celebration, starting Thursday.
Pella Mayor Jim Mueller says he’s excited to interact with the nearly 100,000 visitors expected at this year’s festival. Mueller says the Tulip Festival is volunteer-driven, and is thankful for what they do to make the event a success.
