Civil War Days
The Marion County Historical Society will hold their 4th Annual Civil War Days this weekend at the Historical Society Village in Knoxville.

Civil War reenactor Terry Fenoglio says the event features drills and skirmishes by the 4th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He says there will be a nighttime cannon firing, a midnight walk where a soldier is presumed missing and the family is looking for him, and a fashion show displaying the different uniforms and outfits worn during the Civil War period.
The all-day event will begin at 7am today. There will also be a Civil War church service with a Rev. Olympia Brown impersonator on Sunday at 10am.
