Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch made a proclamation recognizing this week as EMT Week during Monday’s city council meeting.

Knoxville Firefighter and EMT Dalton Roland says it’s important that they constantly stay prepared to do their job effectively, which is why they keep up on their continuing education. Roland says there is still a huge adrenaline rush whenever he hears the bell for the next call.
