In the 62 years that the Knoxville Raceway has held weekly races, no female has ever won a sprint car A-Main in any class. That all changed Saturday night when McKenna Hasse on a lap six restart took the lead and pulled away to become the first female to ever win a sprint car A-Main at Knoxville. Hasse also had to endure many yellow flags and the threat of rain to get the win. After the race an emotional Hasse told KNIA/KRLS Sports is was just believing that she could get it done. Wayne Johnson led from start to finish in the 360s and Justin Henderson led the last 17 laps going away to take the 410 race.
