The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad beat a pesky Albia team 5-3 last night and in the process swept the South Central Conference with a 6-0 record. The Panthers fell behind early on but answered with three straight goals in 18 minutes to take a three/one halftime lead. Albia did not give up as the Blue Demons lit up the scoreboard with two goals in nine minutes in the second half to tie the match at three, but two more goals by Knoxville sealed the match. Chase Larson and Alex Dye both had two goals and Daniel Mallory scored the other goal. Knoxville is now 10-4 on the season and will travel to Oskaloosa on Thursday.
