Knoxville School Board
Teachers in the Knoxville Community School District will be taking a more proactive approach to helping students learn.

Superintendent Cassi Murra shared Iowa Assessment Data with the Knoxville School Board Monday and feels the trend is showing that some changes should be made. She says instead of teachers reviewing students’ test scores for their current year, they’ll be looking at the scores of students for their incoming class. This will allow teachers to identify problem areas students are facing and adjust their curriculum accordingly.
Murra says the trend with the Iowa Assessments should show progress in learning the further a class advances through the school system.
