It was an exciting day of golf for the Pella High boys’ team on Saturday. Playing in a field that consisted of some top ten ranked teams in Class 3A, the Little Dutch came in a close third place with a total team score of 318. That sum was just ten strokes behind Centerville, and six more than Creston. Corey Elliott tied for fifth individually, shooting a 77, while Trevor Argo recorded a season-best 79. Coach Bob Fessler tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that he feels his team is very close to breaking through. The Dutch will rest and get ready for the sectional meet this Friday at Willow Creek Golf Course.
