Director of the Pella Convention & Visitors Bureau Jill Vandevoort and Marion County Development Commission Director Carla Eysink are two of 17 graduates of the first Iowa Tourism Leadership Institute.

It was initiated to offer the state’s tourism professionals an opportunity to expand their leadership knowledge and skills. Topics included core courses in personality assessment, branding, board/staff partnerships and leadership influence.
