Jamison Roozeboom and Tom Pettit won the doubles and were crowned district champions, but it was not enough as Maharishi edged Pella High in the boys’ tennis district meet last night. The Little Dutch ended up with 20 points, just four behind Maharishi. Roozeboom and Pettit won in straight sets over the pair from Maharishi. Sam Dykstra and Colin Jones were third in doubles. Full Pella results are posted below. The Panthers and Little Dutch will play one another next week, with the winner to take on Maharishi and advance to the next round of the team competition.
