May 1st was the scheduled final day of the 2015 Iowa Legislative session, but instead delegates continue to look for compromise on the state budget.
District 14 State Senator Amy Sinclair says it’s disappointing because they knew going into the session resolving the budget was going to be tough. She believes more time should have been spent on larger issues earlier on because it’s these issues that are now keeping the Legislature in session.
Sinclair believes the session could take another two to four weeks to complete.
