Despite having to continue the legislative session, District 14 State Senator Amy Sinclair is proud of some of the things she’s been able to accomplish this year.

One of those accomplishments, the issue of rural improvement zones across the state, was three-years in the making. She says this was a great compromise between advocates of rural improvement zones and others who felt it infringed on local government.
Sinclair adds that getting the Kelsey Smith Law passed and the compromise regarding school start dates were also terrific achievements from this legislative session.
