A difference of 77 strokes separated Pleasantville from North Polk in yesterday’s triangular girls’ golf outing featuring the Trojans, Comets, and Melcher-Dallas. Golfing on their home course again, Pleasantville shot a team score of 171 to outpace North Polk, who came in with a 248. The Saints only had one girl golf and did not have a team score. Hannah Gordon was the meet medalist, with a two-over-par round of 37. Teammate Bailey Oliva was the runner-up with a 41. The Trojans will try for their sixth straight Pride of Iowa Conference title next on Tuesday at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club.
