Sloppy at times, according to head coach Sheldon Card, but the Pleasantville baseball team began what should be an exciting and promising season on Memorial Day at a venue they hope to see their season end at some point, with a 3 – 1 in over Ridge View. Zeb Adreon was the winning pitcher, going four-and-two-thirds and only allowing one hit while striking out six. Adreon also contributed a three-bagger at the plate. Josh Luna had the only other hits for the Trojans, a pair of singles, as they begin their 2015 campaign 1 – 0, and they’ll continue their season tonight with a home game against Bondurant-Farrar.
