Marion County Board of Supervisors President Mark Raymie offered an update on the Attica-Pershing sewer project Tuesday during their regularly scheduled meeting.

Raymie says an option agreement has been finalized and signed by one family. It still needs to be signed by one other family and when that happens testing can move forward.
Raymie says they’ve finally hit the first hurdle of this project and it’s now in better shape than it has been in a while.
In December, the Central Iowa Water Association withdrew from the project due to delays.
