Albia used some timely hits in the seventh inning of their game with PCM’s baseball team, and walked-off on the Mustangs last night, 7 – 6. PCM scored five runs in the first four innings, before the Blue Demons mounted their comeback, which culminated in a three-run seventh that gave them the “W.” Austin Brown went 3-for-5 at the dish with three RBIs, but the rest of the team could not do much with given opportunities, as the Mustangs stranded 15 runners on base. The softball team just got by Chariton, 6 – 5 to improve to 4 – 1 on the season, while the boys fall to 2 – 3. Each squad is at home to play C-M-B later today.
