The Pella Christian Softball team continued its undefeated start to the 2015 season with a 12-4 win over Albia last night. The Eagles were able to start the scoring early in the 1st inning, which included a two-run homer from Courtney Johannes, who went 3 for 4 on the evening. Emma Schnell retired the first 16 batters she faced before giving up three earned runs in the final two frames. Senior Outfielder Abby Pleima says a fast start lessened the impact of a few defensive miscues late in the game. Pella Christian moves to 6-0 and continues a three-game homestand tonight against conference foe Newton.
