The Knoxville Raceway is set to induct four new members into its Hall of Fame this Saturday. Three drivers and an official will be enshrined. The drivers are Brent Antill, who raced for 15 seasons at the raceway. The highlight of his career was qualifying for the 2004 Knoxville Nationals A-Main for the Jordan Brothers entry. Dennis Moore Jr., won the 1999 and 2003 360 Nationals. In ’99 he swept both the 410 and 360 A-Mains. He is only one of four drivers to ever accomplish such a feat. Race Director John McCoy started out as a driver from 1978 until 1987. He also has served as the competition director and technical director at the track. Mark Wilson will be inducted posthumously. Wilson was a popular driver who finished third in the inaugural 360 Nationals. Wilson tragically lost his life in a crash at the Knoxville Raceway in 2001. The induction ceremonies will take place at noon in Dyer-Hudson and during intermission on Saturday.
