With two wins tonight, the Knoxville Baseball Squad can all but slam the door shot on the South Central Conference race. The Panthers are 11-0 in the conference host Davis County who stands at 8-1. This first game is actually a resumption of the nightcap of the double header between the two teams back on June 15th when a bank of lights would not come on making playing conditions unsafe. While the Panthers are sailing through the conference, Coach Joel Johnson says there are still some things that they need to improve on, and right now it is finding time to practice in between the busy game schedule. You can hear the call of the second game on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com at around 7:30 with Derek Cardwell and Marcus Johnson.
