The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad will travel to Bondurant-Farrar tonight in the opening round of the class 1A regional. The Blue Jays 6-11 record is a bit deceiving in the fact they have four one goal loses to ranked teams. They have lost to class 1A number one Nevada, class 2A number six Pella, class 1A number 14 Gilbert, and class 2A number 15 Norwalk all by 1-0 finals. Panthers Coach Charlie Fisher tells KNIA/KRLS Bondurant-Farrar will provide a challenge. He says goal keeper Ally VanderHart is getting more confident and is playing well late in the season. Knoxville is 3-12 on the season but have won two of its last four and have scored ten goals in the last four games. Tonight’s match is scheduled to start at six.
