It was another split in the South Central Conference for the Knoxville Softball Squad last night. The Panthers blasted Centerville in the opener 12-2 in six innings. Avery Neer, Taylor Carter, and Ricki Hall were responsible for all 12 runs batted in. Delaynee South picked up the six scattering six hits and striking out five with just one walk. It was much closer and the opposite result for the Panthers in the nightcap as they dropped and 8-7 decision. Anna Sanderson, Lucy Olson and Shaye Nichols each had two hits. South took the loss going only one inning while Jada Agan pitched six innings with three strikeouts. Knoxville is now 11-8 on the season and 5-6 in South Central Conference. The Panthers host Pella Christian tonight on both KNIA and KRLS.
