The Knoxville Softball Squad dropped two games to Class two-A number seven ranked Eddyville-Blakesburg last night. The Rockets won game one 9-3. Emily Wallace took the loss going four innings while Alex Griggs pitched the last two innings for the Panthers. Shaye Nichols had two hits for the Panthers. In the nightcap, Knoxville fell 9-4 with Delaynne South taking the loss. Taylor Carter was 3/3 at the plate with an R-B-I. Avery Neer, Cheyenne Jones ,and Emily Wallace each had two hits. Knoxville is now 8-6 on the season and falls to 3-4 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers are off until Wednesday night then they visit Pella.
