For the second straight game, the Knoxville Softball Squad had to put up a handful of runs and that was almost not enough as the Panthers outscored Albia last night 14-8. The game was back-and-fourth with the teams trading the lead multiple times. However a six run sixth inning gave Knoxville the needed cushion. Ricki Hall clubbed her second home run of the season and Cheyenne Jones went 3/5 at the plate. Delaynne South went the distance for Knoxville giving up 11 hits striking out three and walking three. Knoxville is now 6-4 on the season and 3-2 in the South Central Conference.
