If the first few weeks of the season are any indication, the Little Hawkeye Conference in softball will be a barn burner each time out. The league features four ranked teams: Oskaloosa, Norwalk, Dallas Center – Grimes, and Pella Christian. Newton and Pella each have winning records and have played close games within the conference. With a conference title seemingly up for grabs for a majority of the league, Pella Christian head coach, Karen Harrill, says that when the dust settles, it’ll be the team that keeps their head on their shoulders that ends up on top. Harrill adds the conference games will mostly all be tight, and she has no prediction as to who will win the L-H-C in 2015.
