An Oskaloosa man faces a felony charge for allegedly possessing a pair of stolen motorcycles.
Fifty-four year old Jeffrey Werner was arrested by the Pella Police Department and charged with 1st degree theft – possession of stolen property, a class C felony. Police say they received an anonymous tip about stolen property at a Maple Street residence on Sunday. After an investigation, they determined that $42,000 worth of property, including a white enclosed cargo trailer and two motorcycles were stolen from Des Moines. Officers seized the property after obtaining a search warrant and arrested Werner. He was transported to Marion County Jail, and bond was set at $10,000. Werner faces up to 10 years in prison.
