An Oskaloosa man has pled not guilty to a felony charge for allegedly possessing a pair of stolen motorcycles in Pella.
Fifty-four year old Jeffrey Werner was arrested by the Pella Police Department on May 31st and charged with 1st degree theft – possession of stolen property, a class C felony. Police say they received an anonymous tip about stolen property at a Maple Street residence. After an investigation, they determined that $42,000 worth of property, including a white enclosed cargo trailer and two motorcycles, were stolen from Des Moines. A court hearing is scheduled on Friday.
