The term “runs coming at a premium” did not apply in the softball game between Twin Cedars and Davis County on Saturday morning. Despite cranking out 11 hits, the Sabers fell to the Mustangs, 10 – 9. Jensen Hastings gave up four earned runs as the losing pitcher in her four innings of work. The Saber offense was led by Marisa Lundy, who went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, RBI, and a stolen base. Hannah Bonnett had a pair of two-baggers and drove in three runs. Twin Cedars, despite scoring a total of 33 runs in their first three games, drops to 1 – 2 on the season, and they’ll try to get back to .500 with a game against Seymour this Tuesday.
