Twin Cedars was on the correct and incorrect side of two one-run decisions on Saturday during their stay in the North Mahaska tournament. The Sabers fell to Pleasantville, 9 – 8; Bailey Dunkin went 2-for-4 at the dish with three RBI, and Shyann Denburger picked up three hits, two of them being doubles. The Sabers bounced back and won 5 – 4 over the host Warhawks. Dunkin collected two more hits and had a stolen base, Denburger and Jensen Hastings slugged six more of the Sabers’ 14 hits in the win. They are now 6 – 9 on the year, and they’ll play Mormon Trail next on Tuesday.
