Senior men’s golfer at Central, Desmond Stoll, received an honorable mention as a Division III PING All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday. Stoll placed 34th individually at the NCAA D3 national tournament, shooting a four-round total of 299. He was the Iowa Conference player of the year, winning the league meet by eight strokes, and broke the single-season record for lowest stroke average with a mean score of 72.9. Central won their 32nd Iowa Conference championship in 2015 and advanced to the tournament for the 33rd time, with a 16th place finish out of 41 schools.
