With a goal of a top ten finish in mind, Pella Christian girls’ golfer, Autumn Vos, is right on the cusp of that top ten bid, as she is in a tie for 11th place after the first day of the Class 2A state girls’ tournament. Vos shot a first round of 89, which was 16-over par at the Ames Golf and Country Club. She is ten strokes behind first place: Samantha Knight of West Monona. Aanna Roslien for the Pella High girls’ golf team currently holds tenth with a +18 score of 89 at the American Legion Golf Course for the Class 4A state meet.
