Spending just one season under Coach Chelsea Petersen, Central women’s basketball assistant coach, Aaron Nester, was just named head coach at Lakeland College up in Wisconsin. Nester was the head man at Oglethorpe University in Georgia for three seasons before being the second in command to Coach Petersen. He was also an assistant at Wartburg from ’06 – ’11. Petersen says Nester helped the program even in the limited time he was a part of it, and adds they’ll be able to find another just-as-worthy candidate to fill in the void.
