Bash Brothers

In the late 80s the Oakland Athletics had the Bash Brothers. Marion County has five baseball players that while not related, have five of the 18 highest batting averages in the entire state of Iowa. Led by Pleasantville’s Zeb Adreon’s 575 batting average all five have at least a 529 average. Two are from Knoxville being Tony Salato and Kevin Woodhouse, one is Pella’s Grant Judkins, and the other is Otis Roby of Twin Cedars. All five hitters will get a chance to extend their season and raise their averages this week when the postseason starts for many of our area baseball teams.
