There is still plenty of debris on the waters at Lake Red Rock following last week’s flooding.

Assistant Operations Manager Josh Conrad says with many boaters expected to take to the waters this weekend, he encourages extra caution from operators. He says all designated boating areas are open, but a few of the ramps are closed due to the high water. The Army Corps of Engineers and local law enforcement remind everyone on a boat to wear a properly fitting life jacket. The water is expected to crest at just below 770 feet and will begin to lower this weekend.
