There were a total of five seniors that said goodbye to the Central men’s basketball team after the 2014-15 season was complete. Nile Eckermann, Kyle Newendorp, Aaron Rosenstiel, Michael Iseman, and Jayson Shepherd all filled in various holes that the seniors before them had left. Their leadership helped get them off to a 7 – 4 non-conference start, including a big win over then No. 1-ranked Augustana. Coach Craig Douma will miss this senior class, not just for their contributions and skills they brought to the team on the court, but for what they did sitting at the desks on campus. The 2015-16 season for Central men’s basketball will tip-off on November 14 at home against Webster.
