Hundreds of Pella residents have already submitted a survey that will help guide the future of the current Pella Community Center.
Community Services Director Jeannette Vaughan tells KNIA/KRLS News that they have received more than 600 responses. She says an Ad Hoc Committee assisting the city council with planning the future of the community center will meet in early August to review the data. Vaughan stresses that this is a preliminary step, and the survey is only intended to determine how the facility is currently being used. It will be open until Friday evening.
Citizens are also welcome to submit written comments directly to jvaughan@cityofpella.com, or if they don’t have access to email, they can drop off written comments at the Community Center office at 712 Union Street.
