As expected the Knoxville Baseball Squad is the number one seed in the Class 3A District. As an added bonus the Panthers do not have to travel very far for their first two rounds, in fact, the school bus will not be needed as Knoxville will host District 13. The Panthers’ opponent is former Little Hawkeye Conference rival Norwalk in the second game of a double header on July 17th. The first game will pit Bondurant-Farrar and Winterset at five P-M. On the other side of Sub State seven is Carlisle taking on Ballard and host Saydel battling Dallas Center-Grimes. The sub state is currently scheduled at Saydel.
