Two convincing wins over Nevada got Knoxville Baseball back on track Wednesday night. Knoxville won game one over the Cubs 13-4 and ended the nightcap in six innings by the score of 12-2.

Kaden Loscher earned the win in the opener going 4 1/3 on the mound. John Mitchell finished up the final 2 2/3 in relief. Knoxville pounded out 12 hits and scored in every inning. Kevin Woodhouse led the way with three hits. Nolan Wallace and Jake Kendall each had a pair of base knocks.

Sophomore Cam Liston took the ball in game two and went the distance, allowing just four hits. Knoxville pounded out 16 more hits in this one. Kevin Woodhouse had three more hits and extended his hitting streak to 30 consecutive games. Tony Salato led the way with four hits, Jared McClung had three, with Luke Hawkshead and Nolan Wallace adding a pair each.

Fifth ranked Knoxville is now 23-4 overall. They will look to stay perfect in the South Central Conference and clinch the outright championship tonight as they host Albia for a doubleheader.
