Now that the South Central Conference championship is taken care of for the Knoxville Baseball Squad, the next thing on the season’s agenda is the postseason. Coach Joel Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS the postseason is much different than trying to win a conference title…because the postseason is one and done. He says with the right pitcher anyone can win a game. So the final seven games will be used to get his pitching staff in order and set up for a postseason run. The Panthers do have one more conference game to play, that being Eddyvlle-Blakesburg on Monday. Then, six non-conference games against Mount Pleasant, Keokuk, and Newton.
