While it was not a state tournament year for the Knoxville Baseball Squad, the Panthers did accomplish a lot in 2015. They won 28 of their 36 games played, won the South Central Conference championship with a 17-1 record, and says Coach Joel Johnson beat some quality teams in the non-conference portion of the season. The Panthers’ non-conference opponents combined records in 2015 was 162-129. Johnson admits the South Central Conference was not the strongest it has ever been, but his guys came out and played every game and won 17 of 18 contests.
