The Knoxville Baseball Squad will test itself this weekend with four games against two quality opponents in Southeastern Iowa. The Panthers will play Mount Pleasant on Friday and Keokuk, the team that ended their season last year on Saturday. Panthers Coach Joel Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS he set the schedule up to face teams like Mount Pleasant, Keokuk and Newton at the end of the season to get the guys used to seeing the kind of pitching they may face in next week’s district. The Panthers will take on Newton Monday in a double header before starting postseason play next Friday at home against Norwalk.
