Knoxville Softball Player Taylor Carter has been selected to play in the 31st Annual Iowa Girls Coaches Association Softball All-Star games next Monday at Waukee High School. Carter is coming off her best season as a player leading the Panthers in batting at 417, hits with 49, and doubles with 17 all the while playing the last few weeks with a broken hand. Her coach Steph Christner tells KNIA/KRLS Sports this is a great honor for Carter. She will also play for Christner and her father Mike at William Penn University in Oskaloosa next year. Carter was also selected to the I-G-C-A Class four-A all Southeast District team.
