With the Fourth of July holiday Saturday, many city and county facilities will be closed Friday in observance of the holiday.

In Knoxville, all administrative offices will be closed. The Knoxville Police Department will also have their offices closed, but will still be available, along with Knoxville Fire and Rescue and the Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department, for emergency services.

The Knoxville Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday.

The Knoxville Rec Center will be open for regular businesses hours Friday, but no classes will be offered. It will be closed all day Saturday.

The Marion County Courthouse and all its offices will also be closed Friday.
