A NASA Flight Director, who’s also a Knoxville graduate, will return to his hometown Thursday.

Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says aerospace engineer Tomas Gonzalez-Torres will talk about his work, including overseeing the final servicing mission of the Hubble Telescope. Thompson says Gonzalez-Torres graduated from Knoxville High School in 1992.

Gonzalez-Torres will be at the Knoxville Public Library at 6:30pm and the public is invited to attend.

The discussion is part of the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Hubble Telescope.
